Travel

I want to
Travel
To move
To roam
About

Perambulate
Around
Free to
Traverse
The earth

Make others
Their lives
My home
For good
I should

Hi,

I apologize for not playing Scrabble with you! Man, it's the weirdest thing. It's right there - like of like how Roy's letter was right there, except someone it sounds more legitimate when I say that "I'm busy," or "it slipped my mind." But, if it makes you feel any better, I have four games that are waiting on me. I hate people like that!

I am thinking/praying/conversing with people about how Crux will look like. I feel like it would be nice to be in/finish seminary and kind of just have all of the things I "need" in a car (if it's up there), maybe your (future bio-diesel car??) and sort of go around showing people love, and being able to have breakfast with them while talking about Jesus. Though, I don't know how we could do that for a while, and there's hardly any accountability to it. Not to mention, work por de $$$.

idk.

letters on a keyboard, the colors in a city
could not contain the Word of validity
the passion in pestilence and oceanic reference
the signs and the symmetry, gold in pottery.
I stand firm and confess the jewelry I possess
is solely an intimacy met, language far kept
in prisons and homes, His story is told
this life not for me, I am finding true victory
so here I will stay,
His kingdom come, and overdue is His way.

I wrote that in September of 2007 in response to you and Aley posting poems on blogspot.

This is the comment you left me in response to the poem:

Haha, i think you are probably the most apt at writing poetry. I like this one. Especially the line: "language far kept, in prisons and homes". When i was thinking of Chinese Waters and apostles i began to think about how they went around starting churches, small groups of people that met in someone's home. And i was thinking that would be an awesome part of our mission. To go around the world and start small churches everywhere...staying long enough to equip the people to lead and grow on their own, then moving on, but always keeping in touch via video over the internet. And then praying that we may someday return to them...

Do you remember?

I am the only one who doesn't write poems. That is probably for the best though, haha. We have to wait till I am twenty one to road trip, so summer 2012?!?! I wonder where we will all be. I received your letter, and will respond soon.

And Kev, you will spend your life traveling, so enjoy the mountains of Colorado!! I am j!
